The girls had a record of 3 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie.  The three wins were all shutouts.  We had a small roster, due to two injuries, but all the girls battled really hard to win the Bronze medal.  Our forwards found their scoring touch with 31 goals in 6 games and our defense and goalie only allowed 11 goals against.  It was a great team effort for the whole tournament.  With 3 – 20 minute stop time periods, it truly is a battle to get to the end of the Provincials and get a medal.  There was definitely high and lows throughout the tournament, but we are very proud of the girls and coaches for persevering and bringing home the Bronze medal for AFHA.  They did us all proud.
