Bantam C League Champions

The Abbotsford Bantam C1 team had a tough start to the year, losing our assistant Coach Lorne Rowan before Christmas. But the team, lead by Captain Liberty Erickson (center) and Assistant Captains Kaylynn Cook (center) and Heather Rowan (Defence) banded together, played hard and scraped their way to the league win, beating out the Richmond Ravens by 1 point in the standings.

Goaltenders Bailey Reimer and Abby Thornton played solid games while Sara Hartle, Heather Rowan, Kiersten Weitschies and Haylee Dempsey held strong defensive lines. Forwards Katherine Weiher and Sophie Michael both celebrated their first career goals this season. Katelyn Reimer and Lillie Hamilton completed the team with their strong play on the wings.
